For over 10 years the Crown Center has provided necessary funding to universities, medical schools and residency programs to
encourage clinical research of the health issues faced by women and newborn babies.
The Center was established in the spirit of philanthropy which aspires to better the lot of humankind. The purpose of the Center
is to conduct clinical research which will benefit the health and welfare of women and infants. While the Center anticipates the direct
beneficiaries of the Center's work will be the citizens of Central Pennsylvania, it is hoped that the fruits of its labor will be of benefit to
a much broader population.
